vindicate in Villafranca the essence of
Santiago's road

The I Cultural Days on the Camino de Santiago have been held in Villafranca del Bierzo promoted by the Maya Lab collective with the aim of reflecting on the changes that the Camino de Santiago has undergone during the last two decades and to vindicate its essence. .

This reflection has also been carried out through art with the VII International Meeting of Visual Artists promoted by Javier Aguado who was born in Portugal and which has brought together a score of painters of all ages and different origins for ten days in the surroundings of Villafranca.

Villafranca, on the Art Way

The municipality of Bercia will host the VII International Meeting of Visual Artists and the I Cultural Conference on the Jacobean Route in July

La Maya Lab, a cultural laboratory coordinated by  Irene García-Inés   has chosen  Villafranca  as the venue for its next edition of the international meetings of visual artists, which organizes  Javier Aguado from Espacio Arte-Espacio Abierto, and which have been held in Portugal or Santander with participants including from  Taiwan or Asustralia  «There is a lot of coexistence in them.
